Capabilities
Bespoke screen technology for film, television and live production.
FilmKode creates the phones, tablets, computers, live video systems and interactive screen workflows used across modern production.
We work with film, television, commercials, live events and brand activations where screens need to look real, behave properly and be ready when the camera turns over. That might be a phone in an actor’s hand, a laptop on a desk, a monitor wall in a control room, a live feed going to a client, or an interactive experience running across a whole stand.
Our work sits between production design, props, video, software and live operations. We design the screen content, build the behaviour, prepare the devices, support the setup and help keep the workflow controlled from prep through to wrap.
The result is simple: screens that work for the story, devices that are under control, and a team that understands the pressure of the shoot day.

Prop Phones
Phones and tablets actors can actually use on camera.
FilmKode builds realistic phone and tablet experiences for scenes where the device needs to do more than show a static image.
A character’s phone can have its own contacts, messages, call history, wallpapers, photos, browser screens, app layouts and notification behaviour. Calls can arrive on cue, messages can appear at the right moment, screens can change during the take, and the actor has something real to respond to.
We can create simple scripted screens or more detailed interactive apps, depending on what the scene needs. That might be a believable message thread, a fictional banking app, a dating profile, a social feed, a map, a gallery, a video call or a completely bespoke interface written for the story.
The aim is always the same: the phone should feel like it belongs to the character, behave naturally in the actor’s hand and photograph properly through the lens. Instead of fixing the screen later, the production can shoot it live.

Computer Screens
Laptops, desktops and monitor walls built for the world of the story.
FilmKode is not limited to phones. We also create and control screen content for laptops, desktop computers, fixed displays, monitor walls, newsroom sets, control rooms, security rooms, studio galleries, kiosks and multi-screen desks.
Each screen can be designed around the scene. A laptop might show a fictional operating system, a browser, a dashboard, a secure portal, a video feed, a control panel or a custom app. A monitor wall might show multiple sources, timed graphics, in-world broadcast content, security footage or synchronised visuals across several screens.
These systems can be controlled live during the take. Operators can change content, trigger cues, reset screens, adjust brightness, restore a scene state or send different content to different displays without interrupting the set.
For productions with complex screen environments, this keeps everything cleaner. The art department gets the designed look, the director sees the finished idea in camera, and the crew has a repeatable setup that can be brought back between takes or shooting days.

Live Video
Live feeds, remote viewing and production review.
FilmKode supports live video workflows for productions that need camera feeds, device feeds or review sessions to move quickly and securely.
Live video can be used inside the scene itself — for example, a phone-to-phone video call, a laptop showing a CCTV feed, a fictional news broadcast, a body-camera stream or a live interaction between two performers. It can also be used behind the scenes, helping directors, producers, crew and clients see the right picture from the right place.
For monitoring and review, FilmKode can support iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows viewing workflows, giving productions a controlled way to share feeds with people on set or remote from it. This can be used for video village, remote client review, dailies, agency approvals, auditions, production meetings and confidential sessions.
FilmKode Meet extends this into production-focused review rooms. Guests can join easily, hosts stay in control, and sessions can be shaped around creative work rather than general office meetings.

Local Systems
Production workflows that can run without internet.
FilmKode can be used as a local on-set system when a production cannot rely on the public internet.
This is important for remote locations, closed sets, studio environments, temporary unit bases and confidential shoots. Phones, tablets, computers, live video tools and control systems can work together on a local network, keeping the production moving even when external connectivity is weak, blocked or unavailable.
For connected productions, FilmKode can also support cloud access for remote clients, producers, agencies or review teams. The system can be shaped around the job: local only, cloud-connected, or a combination of both.
That flexibility means FilmKode can support small shoots, large series, multi-stage productions, remote units, live events and review workflows without forcing every production into the same setup.

Experiences
Interactive screen technology for brands, events and exhibitions.
The same FilmKode approach can be used beyond film and television for trade shows, exhibitions, showrooms, launches, visitor experiences and brand activations.
Phones, tablets, kiosks, monitors and large displays can be synchronised to create a live interactive journey. A visitor might enter their name, take a photo, trigger a sequence, see multiple devices update around them, or receive a shareable result at the end of the experience.
For agencies and brands, this creates a polished experience that feels personal, technical and memorable without needing a complicated operator setup. The system can be prepared, tested, transported, reset and reused across different events.
FilmKode brings the same production discipline to live experiences: careful design, reliable device control, clean presentation and support when the event is live.
